Just an old sew and so...

I have been taught since I was old enough to sit behind a sewing machine, that self-suffiency is an important quality to obtain in life. My mom made it her goal to teach me everything she knew about sewing, construction, and gardening... and I'm still learning from her.

I've decided to start this blog to display some of my work, but also to show everyone that sewing is not a difficult skill to master. You can make it as simple or as elaborate as you'd like, but in the end it is about the process not just about the final product. Just as our lives are about our journey with Our Lord, as we look ahead to what He has laid before us.

I can't say that my ideas are always original, but there is no shame in that. I take what I see and like, then add to it to make it mine. I will do my best to make some step by step tutorials about things I make and give tips along the way.
